My dh was renting a room, as he had to go up to LV first, and we couldn't carry two mortagages PLUS double utility payments. So he rented a room. It was okay at first, but then there started to be problems. They have gotten worse, the landlady is kind of nuts (she does everything she can to make sure the tenants in the house do not talk to each other, she has used different names on the rental leases for DH and the two other renters, she was out in the backyard yesterday burning papers, there's much more....)

I got to wondering, and so searched the Tax Assessors site, and found she is not the owner, as she has said. So we are guessing she is (illegally?) sub-letting the rooms. Plus who knows what else.

DH is moving out right this minute. We just have to kiss the month's rent he paid goodbye, as I want him safe and se is crazy. I have pretty much accepted the fact that we will be losing our $300 "damage deposit" - but OH! it hurts, as we were counting on getting that back since we have all these new utility deposits to pay, plus, the deposit and first month's rent on our house on April 1st.

I could cry. And I hate that he is having to go through this. And he could really use some prayers right now.
