I am sorry if this seems petty in light of the struggles of so many, but would you please, especially if you are awake at this hour, pray to St Blaise on my behalf?

I have a nagging, dry cough which is keeping me,and the baby, up. Poor Seth is startled and starts screaming every time I cough! I am really scared that this will last for weeks like it did in the Fall. I can't take that.

Thanks everyone! We did manage to get some sleep. After I posted here, I started rummaging around the medicine cabinet in hope of finding something that would help. I found a homeopathic remedy I bought last time I had this cough, but never used. It seemed to do the trick and quieted my cough so we could both sleep.

Oh I'm glad. Molly, we've had some success with honey too - especially to calm the *I'm trying to settle down and sleep tickle* cough. We have used any honey we have available.
