Not a prayer request...but I really wanted to share something wonderful about the power of prayer.
Back in the fall, I had a difficult and troubling situation with my son and another child. This child is a part of our co-op. His mom and I handled it well, with honest discussion and great charity. Still, I was worried about how I would deal with him in the future, hoping that the incident would not cause strain in our group.
So I prayed. I asked the Lord to only let me see this sweet child as He sees him, and to only act towards him as He would. My prayer was answered and as is the case, our Father in heaven also used it as an opportunity to let me experience His generosity. Beyond answering my prayer, God gave me a heart full of love for him. I find myself delighting in his presence in our group. And he has responded with a joy and eagerness that fills me with happiness. He can't wait to meet, is interested, asks questions, talks to me about many other things as well.
And so, praise God, for the mercy and forgiveness He has shown me. And thanks be to God for this sweet boy.

Thankyou so much for sharing that Maria, it is such a wonderful reminder to the power of prayer especially when those prayers are not initially, easily forthcoming.
My mum use to find this time and time again when she was nursing and having difficulties with some of the other staff - it never failed to heal big problems that were above the 'natural change of heart'.
