My rheumatologist's office called today...my blood tests came back elevated again. I have to stop taking my arthritis medication completely until we find out why this is happening. My internist should call me today with the next step in the process. It's likely I'll be having a liver biopsy at some point.

We're meeting my husband for lunch. I have to tell him too...

All my blood work came back negative, hooray!

I'm scheduled for a liver biopsy March 17 (the Feast of St. Patrick, my name saint). This biopsy is the typical response to patients in my situation, and the gastroenterologist was amazed I made it this far without needing one.   Still the idea of it...ewww...not looking forward to the biopsy , but blessed by the scheduled date .
