Thank you all so much for your prayers! My husband will be joining the theology department at Belmont Abbey College (the "Got Monks?" college) starting this fall.
We are so happy and so relieved, and so grateful for all your prayers.

Oh this is wonderful! We love Belmont -- I just wish one of my kids wanted to go there. We used to live in Greenville and heard such good things about the good monks turning it around.

Thank you again for all your prayers. This ends a five-year search for something full-time and "permanent." I have to applaud my brave and brilliant husband, who has worked some rather dead-end jobs, including a stint as a security guard, to keep all our bodies and souls together, and has managed to touch the lives of students whom he has come across in uncongenial adjunct-teaching situations -- I am so proud of him, and so grateful to all of you for your prayers.
The academic job market is a particularly tough one, so please spare a place in your prayers for everyone looking for a college-level teaching job right now. Today was our day, but there are others still looking, and wondering what they're going to do if nothing pans out this time around. Please pray for these hardworking scholars and their families.
