hi,
boy do I feel like a broken record.
I am still sick (the fever returned on Monday, but seems to have broken again. tomorrow I will have had the cough for three full weeks, and sleeping is really difficult and so I am not healing...)
Now, our youngest dd5 has a fever, and has thrown up a few times this morning.
And my Mom called this morning, she may have pnuemonia, our dr is trying to keep her out of the hospital.
Plus, when I talked to dh in Vegas yesterday, he sounded pretty lousy too.
Ugh. Any prayers, especially for AerynClare and my Mom, would be very appreciated. Oh, and that ds9 and dd18 manage to not get hit with this "bad" version of this illness (they both have a slight cough and congestion...I am praying it doesn't go further for them...as ds9 has childhood asthma and dd18 has impaired kidneys and does not tolerate antibiotics at all.)
I can't remember a time when we have all been sick like this. 
...and I miss my dh ....

Prayers for you & your family, Laura!
My 2 youngest are down with high fever, congestion and coughing as well -- our ped confirmed it was the flu, (even tho they had the vaccine earlier this season, this "version" wasn't part of it) and told me to expect them to be down for 10-14 days, and probably not recovered fully for at least a full 3 weeks. Probably NOT what you wanted to hear, but they said that's the version that's going around right now :(

Laura, dd has kept me posted about your family and we've been praying. Melanie, I'm so sorry that you have been hit hard too. My family is fine now (and yes it takes a good long time to get over this one completely when hit hard) but my sister's family who is visiting is ill. This all feels sooooooooooo looooooooooooooong. Praying, friends  .
