I just wanted to thank you all again for your prayers. Yesterday my Mom came over to help with my son's bday party and told me that she was saying a Novena to Our Lady of Lourdes and if my husband gets this job he will have to thank the Blessed Mother.
He had his interview yesterday and things went really well. He is optimistic and we hope to hear something positive early next week. Also, it looks like the situation with the foreclosure will be fixed. Nothing is definite yet, but it is looking up!
I would appreciate your continued prayers that my husband gets this job and that I am not anxious in the meantime. Waiting is so very hard for me.

Hello,

I am a silent forum member, one who gleans much from others but I am not much of a poster. I feel funny that the only posts I ever do are prayer requests.

Please pray for my family. We are having a very hard season right now and are facing a foreclosure and I am teetering on the brink of despair. I thought we had the situation handled but then this morning I found out I was wrong.

Please,please pray that I will not give into that darkness that is trying so hard to take me and that I will be unwaivering in my faith. I know that God is bigger than any of my problems and that he will care for us. Pray also for my husband during this stressful time. He has an interview this afternoon and my prayer is that if it is God's will that he get the job. Also, please pray for our children that their hearts will not be troubled.

Thank you all for your prayers. I can honestly say I feel much peace this afternoon. My prayer is that it will continue!
My husband's phone interview went well and they called him for a follow-up in person interview on Thursday. I am hopeful that it will work out. It seems like a good fit.

Molly, I would be interested to hear more about the Novena -- I have never heard of Our Lady Undoer of Knots. It is funny -- I specifically asked our Lady to help my husband today. He is not a Catholic and has typically un-Catholic views on Our Lady. I pray that his heart will be softened by the Blessed Mother. I would be very grateful if anyone wanted to pray this Novena with me.
