I would appreciate prayers that our pipes don't freeze before we find affordable service for whatever is wrong with our heating system. Not sure what happened that meant my husband had to shut off the heat but I am glad I noticed that burning smell just before sleep last night (no fire, just something "failing.") He's pretty handy but in this case prefers finding a professional to work on it. It is not terribly cold but I hear if the pipes freeze we could be in for much greater expense. Thanks! (And if you're in Northern Virginia and have a recommendation for HVAC service, I would love a PM with it!)
