A police officer was shot by a drunk responding to a minor traffic accident. He died Saturday morning and leaves a wife and 5 children. This happened very close to our home and just have not been able to get his family out of my mind. Pleasse pray for the repose of his soul and for his family.

Praying.    My dad was a policeman, that was my worst fear growing up, I can't tell you how relieved I was when he retired... Then both of my brothers became policemen.

Thank you for caring Janet. I am very touched, policemen's families can feel so alone, you are kind of kept at arms length by the community in many ways.
