I am having difficulties accepting my poor health. For years I have been distracted and focused on conceiving, and getting a baby here! That made all of the health problems worth dealing with, coping to get the end result- a baby!!
Now that we know the extent of my diagnoses, I have become a fascinating specimen for many National Registries, and I'm tired of feeling sick, and tired, for no good reason.
Please pray that I will accept myself as God made me, and for wisdom for my family and my Doctors, as we continue to learn more. I always congratulated myself in excercising, eating wonderful and organic or whole foods, I've tried homeopathy, herbal remedies, etc. I do everything I can in my OWN power to live healthily. I think deep down this is a blow to my pride as well. "But God, not fair! I'm doing everything right!!!"

Lisa - I am praying for you. I feel for you as I too have not been so well despite all the healthy living. Below is a prayer that someone sent me that I am praying. I am also doing the Novena to Saint Jude - I will include you.

Heavenly Father,

I Call on You right now in a special way. It is through Your power that I was created. Every breath I take, every morning I wake, and every moment of every hour, I live under Your power.

Father, I ask You now to touch me with that same power. For if You created me from nothing, You can certainly recreate me. Fill me with the healing power of Your Spirit. Cast out anything that should not be in me. Mend what is broken. Root out any unproductive cells. Open any blocked arteries or veins and rebuild any damaged areas. Remove all inflammation and cleanse any infection.

Let the warmth of Your healing love pass through my body to make new any unhealthy areas so that my body will function the way You created it to function.

And Father, restore me to full health in mind and body so that I may serve You the rest of my life.

I ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
