Please pray that all goes well; she is a good match for someone with myelodysplastic syndrome and goes Tuesday for the donation. I told her I'd have her pray that the donation and stem cell transfer were completely successful.

My friend has already lost one niece to brain tumors and her next-oldest niece is now fighting cancer as a college student. Being able to help someone battle a disease is very special to her.

I'll keep your friend in my prayers. My dad had an adult stem cell transplant 2 years ago for his Non-hodgkins lymphoma and has had a clean bill of health ever since. Prayers going up for her and all donors.
