MarieBernadette had br*e*t cancer several years ago and has been cancer free. She recently was diagnosed again. She had surgery, had several lymph nodes removed and is scheduled to receive chemo very soon. However, she has a mass on her leg showing up and is scheduled for an MRI on Monday the 26th.
She is a practicing Catholic...praise God!...and has been the grateful recipient of one of Alice's novenas. So if you've seen her name there and prayed for her this is the same lady!! Please pray for a successful MRI and that God will accomplish all within her that He plans...she only wants His perfect Will.
**DEC 1**
The MRI was inconclusive. However the cancer docs have said they have a hunch it is cancer. An appointment with an Orthopedic doc is next. Thank you and please continue to lift up this single mom in your prayers. She has endured many, many crosses and is so hopeful and cheerful right now.
**DEC 27**
Your prayers are a huge blessing right now. MarieBernadette did not have the bone biopsy because of high risks. The Ortho doc really believes the mass in the leg is benign. Here is an excerpt from the first day of chemotherapy:
Only now am I starting to feel a bit bad... headache and nauseous ... I have to go in tomorrow at 9 for a shot of Neulasta which is supposed to keep my white cell count up. That was one of the problems I had with chemo fourteen years ago. I almost died twice because my white count went so low that I needed two separate transfusions one after the other of blood to bring me back to normal each time ... They did tell me that I will experience much more bone pain from the neulasta and that it could cause severe breathing problems especially because I have COPD already ...

**FEB 29** Today is the last chemo session. It's been really rough with the addition of the shots to boost white blood cells. The last of those will be Monday. In 3 weeks MarieBernadette hopes to be feeling a whole lot better and start radiation. But today she needs all the prayers she can get. Thanks so much.
