A friend called this evening with a prayer request and asked if I could post it to my homeschooling prayer list. She has a neighbor boy named Julian, who is only 4 years old, who has a brain tumor. He will have surgery to remove it on Friday. Please pray that it is benign and that he comes through the surgery fine. I just cannot imagine what his parents are going through right now. Prayers for them too would be appreciated, I'm sure. Thanks for your prayers!

Sorry for the long delay in giving an update. I've been away from the forum this past week.

I heard from my friend, who is a neighbor of Julian's. (I don't know Julian personally - sorry for the confusion in the first post.) She said that he came through the surgery very well and was recovering. The family is still waiting to hear if the tumor was cancerous.
