I will update more later (when not quite so doped on Percocet), but I wanted to thank you all for your prayers during my preterm labor and let you know that our precious new baby Noel Edward arrived at 1:35 AM on November 4 (34 weeks gestation), weighing 5 lbs. 5 oz. and measuring 17" long. We came home today and God is SO good -- I will share the story soon, but I need to go eat and settle in now.
Please pray for my speedy recovery as I ended up with a C-section and additional surgery to repair a damaged bladder -- I'm pretty torn up right now, but coping well with the help of prayer and modern medicine.

Congratulations to you! I have been thinking of you and wanting to email you since I saw you on Friday night. From your post above I assume that Noel came home too and did not have to stay behind in the NICU. Prayers that you heal well and that the little guy grows quickly.

Congratulations! I was wondering too if there was a reason you didn't seem to be posting, and praying -- so glad to hear that the most important things apparently went okay, but having also had 2 unplanned c-sections, I will especially pray for your recovery.

Oh Philothea, congratulations on Noel's arrival! So sorry to hear that you have obviously had a time of it all but I will be praying that you will heal and recover very quickly and enjoy the advent season with your own 'Noel'!
