Just got this e-mail today about a homeschooling family near us. I met Dina recently and she is a wonderful, warm person. I had no idea they were going through this crisis. I'm sure they'll appreciate your prayers!

Some of you may know the Velkly family ~ Tony and Dina have 4 beautiful children: Travis, Teresa, Tristan and Trey. The oldest is about 10 years old, and the youngest is about 1 ½ years old.
Tony has been battling renal cell cancer for a few years…Dina has been driving an hour each way to come to Bible Study here every Thursday…Tony just had a CAT scan, and the report back wasn’t good. He has several spots on both lungs. He will be having a PET scan, too.
Tony has already had one lobe of his lung removed, and one kidney removed…he has had some very severe side effects from some of the medications he has been on. He and Dina are very shook up about this news. When she called today, she said neither her nor Tony has been able to sleep at all for several nights. She was too tired to drive up here for Bible Study…and she never misses. |

Got this update in the mail 3 days ago but I didn't see it 'til now... thank you for all your prayers!
