The pastor (Fr. Butler) of the parish where I went to high school is in hospice. He had what was thought to be a mild heart attack last week, but it is now clear that his situation was much more serious. He has several health issues that take more aggressive rehabilitative treatment off the table. His parish is praying for God's will; they are hoping for healing but are preparing for the worst. Even if he does recover, he will have a tough time returning to his parish. Please pray for him.
