I'm off to the dr's in a bit....I've been sick for several weeks. Could you offer a prayer that it's nothing serious? We won't be able to do any testing, as dh is still w/o work.

Thank you all so much. Dr. thinks it's either viral or more likely my gallbladder.  She didn't feel any masses anywhere, and she says my liver is not enlarged. Whew!
She wants an untrasound done, and wants me to appeal to the local Catholic hospital where she practices to do the test for free. If not, she wants a call back from me, and she said she'll pull some strings.
Problem is, if the u/s shows that the gallbladder is diseased, then she wants surgery done.  Again, she said she'll make it happen (she knows how desperate our financial situation has become).
I'd really like to beat this thing back (on my own - dh is out to get more pears!), or be divinely healed. I'm going to hold off calling for the u/s for at least a few days.

Tami, have you considered gallbladder cleansing? Google the information, I know I have heard of others doing liquid fast and such to help with Gallbladder issues. I will continue to pray to St Raphael for you.
