Dear Friends,
Could you please send a small prayer up for my health, the baby's, and mostly for my other children, as I have been feeling so sick, it has taken a toll on everyone.
It makes me very sad to feel like I am neglecting my children's needs, esp. the emotional ones for a "present" mother. Please pray for me to have peace and for the children especially to grow in virtue through this time of sacrifice.
I of course am so happy to have made it to this point! Thank you for your prayers for us these past weeks. Hopefully Little One is fine. But my mornings have actually appeared to get *worse*, so I don't quite understand what's up...perhaps the stress of daily life and having had so many and being an older mother? My body has been through a lot.
I so wanted to provide a simple but consistent schedule for these little ones this year....a mom and meals and learning and activity they could rely on. I actually called a friend to take my four youngest for a few hours today. I am in bed, they are not getting schooled, and my dear friend's homeschooling is probably not going to get done. I feel guilt, but I really need the help.
Anyway, thank you for listening and for your care and any words of sisterly "been there".

Haven't been there in the same way you are right now with all your little ones, but know that I am praying for you and all of your children. Hang in there.

I'll am sending prayers. I have been there many times, and not only when I have been pregnant. I will be praying for your and your children and that things will get easier.

Nina, I'm definitely not in your situation, but you are very much in my prayers. I know you feel guilty for not being able to provide right now for your children in the way you want to, but just think--you are growing for them a most blessed gift: another sibling to love! I'll be praying to the angels for your children and your little one on the way.

Nina, I'm so happy the pregnancy has progressed this far! Deo Gratias.
I don't have the morning sickness now, but I'm still on the couch a lot of the time, and don't do as many things with my son. I don't have the multiples you have, but I still feel badly that I'm not present fully with him.

Praying for you, Nina. I do understand. My sickness is finally over, but I am so exhausted, and I do feel guilty that I am not more present for my kids right now. God bless you.

Nina,
I've been there. Only with my 1st. It was so bad I was hospitalized.
Anyway, know this is only a temporary situation. In the grand scheme, they may miss out a whole 2 months from what the norm is. However, that's not bad if you think about it in the continuum of 18 years. And, consider this their fall break!!!! Also, you are there!!! That's what they need more than anything else.
They will continue to learn, I'm sure of that, whether it's "real" life learning like helping you around the house or learning that Mom just needs their prayers. This will be a time of growth, and I bet that your children will just grow that much closer to each other as they try to help you.
Take care of yourself.
Please St. Gerard pray for this special Mom. Please pray that she and her children will feel Our Lord's graces and peace during this most difficult time.

Nina, praying for you. I've watched "life" pass me by from the bed with many of my pregnancies. We all survived, and that is what is important. May God give you Peace and Comfort,
