George ended up needing emergency surgery to relieve the pressure on his brain. He is still heavily sedated, but responsive, especially when hearing stories about his nieces and nephews. My friend says at one point he seemed to be laughing when she told him something funny. The stroke was massive and the doctors have been very clear that this will be a long recovery and things will not be the same for George. Still, we are persevering in prayer, knowing the Lord has cared for him thus far. Thank you all, I know your prayers have brought so much peace to my friend and her family.
