We are always struggling, nothing new, but this roof put us over the edge. Home repair always seems to cost more than anticipated, besides taking much more time than expected.
The good news is that it is finished! Dh, and ds's 14 and 11 worked 4 long days sunup to sundown, and we had a few amazing homeschool dads who helped so much. What an education for ds's- Joe was even off school for this -it worked out well!
The bad news is that we can't pay for this.
I am humbly asking for prayers that we can pay for the roof quickly. My home is getting very clean in this process as I am pulling together what I can to sell on ebay/cathswap.
Dh is exhausted, overwhelmed, (the roof was in much worse shape than anticipated, and needed many extra repairs, he had to take too much time off from work)
I am hoping to help ease this burden by asking for prayers. That we stay positive, and get creative on ways to pay this off.
