I asked for advice for a friend a few days ago re: eating, but now little Christopher has been admitted to the hospital. They believe he may have a problem with his digestive track.

I'm sorry I missed your original post. I had one child who had meconium stuck in his bowels. He barely would latch on and then stop eating. He lost an entire pound. I talked to a lactation consultant who told me to relax (yeah, right ). He was about two weeks old when we took him to the hospital, the doctor gave him an enema, and his bowels exploded within minutes. He is a healthy 4 yo now. I hope that Christopher's issue is as easy to solve. We'll pray.
