My college friend has already lost one daughter to brain tumors; now, her second daughter has Hodgkins lymphoma. Claire (the daughter) is college age and otherwise healthy (good) but she is stage 3A because she has tumors in various areas of her body. Please pray for Claire, her mom and extended family (Claire's parents are divorced). This is a frightening spectre for all of them, as Claire's older sister went home to God a few years ago.

They are all devout Christians; please ask God to strengthen them and give them His blessed peace at this scary time.

Nancy,
Please pass my email address, along with a promise of prayers, along to Claire and her mom. I'm a Hodgkin's survivor (and so is the chicken lady). The good news is that they've come a very long way in treating this kind of cancer. There is lots and lots of hope to be had.

My dh is a survivor of this type of cancer as well....

You can bet we'll be offering prayers.

Initially, Steve was given 3 years to live...he turned 40 on August 31....
