Dear Friends,
My sister has just called me . My brother-in-law, who has been having hearing problems over the last few weeks, had an MRI and they've discovered he has a brain tumor. They're both very young and dh and I think the world of them. They are really a wonderful couple and this will, of course, rock their world. Please pray that they will be showered with grace during what will most likely be one of the most difficult seasons of their lives.

Thank you so much, everyone, for your prayers! I have good news!! (Well, as good as it can get at this point, anyway.) My sister phoned yesterday to say that they were told in their appointment (the initial one) that brain surgery is a must but it's likely that the tumor is non-cancerous, (they won't really know until it is removed). The doctor said that worst case scenario with the surgery is that my bil will have permanent hearing loss in the ear that the tumor is affecting and perhaps some muscle control issues on that side of his face. If the tumor is cancerous they'll have to prepare to go through treatment for that too, but it somehow seems less scary than it did before... and I owe that to the grace showered upon us as a result of the prayers of our friends and family...
