Mark and I are doing well, but upon taking our time to learn about one another, I am finding he has some strange 'growths' throughout his body, boney like parts on his head and on his chest. We think they may be absorbed parts of his twin. Unless something else arises I won't take him to the ped until next week. (this is per our agreement with her, I don't like to do well child visits and such at all!) I have a feeling we are going to need to investigate these things. It also saddens me a bit! Please pray for my emotions right now. I hope it doesn't sound silly, but I'm feeling awful sappy at the moment, and realizing that we are missing a baby, and he probably is too.

Not silly at all. Praying for you, and that everything is fine with Mark.
God bless.

It's not silly at all to grieve for the little one you've lost, even if in the midst of rejoicing over little Mark. Praying for you both, Lisa.

I'm praying for you all Lisa! And I do understand the bitterwseet.
About the bony protrusions: Christian has bony protrusion on his chest. I had no bleeding with that pregnancy and have no reason to suspect a twin. But it was the first pregnancy after cancer and chemo and I'll tell you what, that lump on my newborn flipped me out a bit! We had an MRI during his first year and they thought it was a calcification. It has seemed to grow as he's grown. There was nothing more to it...A mystery.

My husband has a bony protrusion on his chest. Where most of us have an indention, he as a protrusion. I didn't even think of that until I read about Elizabeth's son.
I believe the doctor has said it was calcification as well.
I freaked me out first time I noticed it. I was like "What is that? Are you normal?"
What is normal? huh?
Prayers that it's something simple as this.
