I hesitate to ask for prayers again, but my ds has been missing for two days. Those of you who know our family situation (and that this is an addiction for him) know that he frequently runs off. But he is usually home by the end of the day, or we have been contacted by other parents or the police.
I really need your prayers now because there has not been a trace of him for two days. I am really worried and upset. The police have searched his usual hangouts and we have also looked for him. With school in session and a curfew, you would think that he would turn up, but he hasn't.
He has already been through so much ... and so has our family. I am finding it hard to stay focused on much. I just do not know what to do other than pray. Thank you ladies for any prayer you may send our way.
Update
The police told me to just be patient. I just cannot sit here and not do anything. I lie awake at night wondering where he may be, who he is with. So this morning I called the principal at his old elementary school. She had seen him yesterday on his bike, but of course, when she called him he went the other way.
Anyway, she gave me some clues as to other place to look including the alternative school. I spoke with the principal there as well. He was a very nice gentleman and said he would call me should he see my son at closing.
I am going up there to look for him. Of course, the problem is once I get him home, how do I keep him here?
At least I know now that even though he is not at home, he is not injured or worse yet, being abused.
Thank you ladies for your prayers, and if you could please continue so that we are able to keep this child safe and at home with his family.
Second Update
My ds came home late last night about 12:30. It was not a pleasant experience. But at least he is at home and safe. Could you please continue to pray for healing for him and the entire family? I certainly appreciate it.
