HI,
I have recently posted my intro in Fireside Chat, but am here to post a prayer request as well. A fellow member suggested that you ladies will be more than willing to pray. I will not post a lot of details here, but if you would like to read more, I did post about it on my blog, I Just Had to Tell Someone
Basically, I am a single mother of two who was left with an extraordinary amount of debt after the divorce. I was able to purchase a small business to enable me to keep the kids at home. However, the business can not support itself, my debt AND a salary. It is a great little business and would be wonderful for someone who does not have the mountain of debt that I do. So my prayer request is this:
* That I can sell the studio (please let me know if you or someone else you know may be interested)
* That I can pay down the debt and be able to take care of my children
* That I can be a good mother, role model and teacher to my children - I am sometimes too stressed and overwhelmed to be the person God wants me to be
* That my faith remain strong and that I continue to put my faith and trust in God, where it belongs
* That I have enough business to pay the bills until it is sold
* That I recognize the door or window that opens up as this one is closed
* For my children and I in general
Thank you, in advance, for your prayers. We really are in trouble right now and if weren't for God and my mother, we would be homeless. We just can't do this on our own. May God Bless each and every one of you!

Dear Heather,
Your introduction really touched my heart. One of my best friends is a faithful Catholic woman who is a single mom of a boy and a girl. Her children are counted among my children's best friends. She has been an amazing example to me of someone who has kept the faith in the face of tremendous difficulties. She is raising faith-filled children of character.

WOW! You ladies are wonderful! I do not think I have felt as much love as I have felt today in a long time. I really appreciate all those who took the time to read and post. I have said prayers for you as well throughout this day. I am really looking forward to getting to know more of you - thanks again for your prayers, your thoughts, your words and extending your friendship to a stranger.
