Please pray for a friend, her family, and her baby. Her baby has meningitis. He's not even three months old. We just found out this morning. I have no more information yet, but will update when I do.

Tina, I am praying for this little baby!! This is quite frightening and this little baby is so young! Look forward to an update and will be remembering this wee one in prayer throughout the day.

Good news. They were able to stabilize his temperature at 99 degrees yesterday. Today they were able to take him home from the hospital. The diagnosis was viral spinal meningitis, which is better (? I guess) than bacterial. They *had* been treating the baby for baterial since Saturday night. Tomorrow, the baby goes back for one more shot of antibiotics as a preventative measure, but other than that, he's well enough and the virus just has to run its course. Woohoo! Your prayers are more powerful than you think!
