Please keep my dear Aunt in your prayers. She is just a wonderful woman who converted to the Catholic faith from Lutheran to marry, and had 5 children. She struggled as her dh had his own business(which never really did very well) to raise her 5 children, work to earn money for the family, put them through Catholic schools, and be a good mom. The kids grew up and not one stayed with the church. I know this was a big disappointment to her. She had a liver transplant about 12 years ago(an autoimmune disease), then battled breast cancer and now is undergoing chemotherapy for lymphoma.
She always has a smile and is just a sweet, sweet person--and my confirmation sponsor and would have driven across the country to see my ds's FHC.
We are having a little family reunion in a few weeks and she is scheduled for her second chemo the week before. She didn't do well first round     Got very sick and hospitalized for a week after. Could you keep her in your prayers and more specifically that she does well with her next round so she can enjoy her time with us. Her son and family are coming out from CA and we are going to have a little party at the nursing home my grandmother is in. We are never all in the same place at the same time and this is going to be such a special weekend....
