Sorry to have so many requests lately.
We are in the process of making an offer on a house. It's a "for sale by owner," and the owner will not pay for a structural inspection or a survey(seveteen acres with very strange boundaries). They did agree to let us have an ispection done before we make an offer, as long as we pay for it(which is not a big deal). So, Monday we will have a structural inspection(we have a couple of concerns), and then a friend that is a non-practicing realtor will help us write up a contract to present. The bank is willing to give us a loan even though we haven't sold our house yet(or at least they say they are). Anyway, this whole house thing makes me a nervous wreck. So, prayers that this all goes well would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you. Someone from the bannk called, and there may be a glitch. I can't tell dh right ow beause he is off fishing. Hope he gets home soon. He handles these things better.

Thank you ladies. The flitch with the bank is actually a pretty big deal, so right now it looks like we are staying where we ae. At least we have a roof over our heads and a yard to play in anyway...

Oh, praying here for you! We just went through the same thing- trying to buy a FSBO house. Thank goodness for inspections- ours turned up major problems that cancelled the sale. There were plenty of "glitches" along the way- and I prayed that if God did not want us to buy the house He would put a block in our path. The inspection report was a big surprise for everyone and a major block. I will pray that God will lead you in the same way- clearly showing you if this house is not meant for you. HUGS.

Thank you, Melinda. Tha bank called again today. There may be a way to work around the glitch. I am already feeling like I just want to stay where we are. Dh is still hoping for the other house, though. I don't know what we will do, but a structural inspection will happen Monday, if we choose to go on with the process. i just keep feeling like we should just stay put for a couple more years.
