Hello Ladies.
In the grand scheme of things...this is a small request, really. We had a tree fall on our home during a big thunderstorm last Saturday and while it made for high drama at the moment, the repurcussions are where the real drama is  .
My kitchen floor was ripped out this morning down to the planking which I can see daylight through. I have a large skylight (read hole) in my kitchen and living room ceilings and it blessedly has not rained since.
Please pray that this is all resolved as quickly as possible. My children and I are going to the beach with some family until the house is habitable. Please pray for my dh who has asthma that the particles from sanding and such don't make him ill.
This part with the waiting and inconveniences of forced exile from my home is realllly hard for me. I'm trying to finish up school and plan and now I'll be away from my books and computer...
While you're at it....could you pray that my van doesn't fall apart as well? It let me down two days in a row and stranded me and baby tonight...putting us at the mercy of a kind neighbor again. I really need it to be fixed so I can evacuate tomorrow. The dehumdifiers and large air movers make the house VERY loud. I can't bear the noise.
I pray for many requests on these boards even when I don't have a chance to reply to the them. You ladies are such a bountiful addition to my life.

Oh my! I was upset about a leaky roof, but your situation is much worse. Keeping you in my prayers and hoping that the repairs go quickly!
