My cousin's little boy has a cyst in his head. It is a fairly large fluid-filled pocket. It was discovered by accident during a CT scan after a fall. So far he has had no symptoms other than headaches, but as you can imagine, this is very scary for the family. He is having an MRI tomorrow and then we will know better what will happen.
Please keep him in your prayers. His name is Nat and he is a very sweet and sensitive boy.

Nat is in my prayers. My younger brother had a fluid filled cyst in his head when he was a baby. It was on his optic nerve and the doctors thought he would lose his sight. They were able to put a shunt in and it kept it drained through the years. It eventually disappeared when he was a young adult. I hope little Nat's cyst can be treated as successfully.
Blessings,
Kym

The surgeon said the cyst is "huge". It is located at the base of his brain, and it's size impaired the growth of his cerebellum (which controls mostly muscle coordination). His cerebellum is tiny, but he is still fairly well coordinated. The doc was amazed that he's had no impairment from it!
They are going to monitor it every year, but there is no need to do surgery as of now!
Thank you for your prayers!

That's wonderful news that Nat won't need surgery right now. Praying for him.

Oh I'm happy he won't need surgery now! I will pray that this does not progress into anything that threatens his well-being!
