Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Anthony Godwin. He is back in the hospital at Duke since Tues. night late. He thought he might be having a heart attack, but that was not the case. So they are doing a medication challenge test to see if the combination of the drugs they are giving him was causing the trouble.

They had just changed his medication for the blood clot he had that may be causing the trouble. He had lung cancer surgery last fall and he's cancer-free now (PTL!) but he developed this clot in his lung a couple months ago and was in the hospital then, too. He's being taking shots daily to dissolve the clot.

My mom and my oldest sister are up there with him tonight and he's resting well now. I just really worry about these episodes happening...

THanks!
JoAnna in NC
