Last month I asked that you pray for my 21 month old son as we went to Bethesda Naval Medical Center for voiding cystogram. Well, the test never happened - I wrote about it on my blog here: A Tough Day.
Nicholas really was protected that day because now we can go have the test done at Walter Reed which is more kid friendly. So we're going there tomorrow (Wednesday) for this test. I would really appreciate your prayers for this tomorrow. Here's a link to my original prayer request that talks more about our family's history with this condition and test: "For my 20 month old"

Oh thanks for asking. I was just worn out yesterday.
The test was traumatic for poor Nicholas, but the medical people were excellent. Kind and patient, understanding and gentle. I normally use cloth diapers, but I had bought some disposables for the test since they are quicker on and off. Good thing, too, because they put some mild radioactive solution into his bladder so it would show up on the film. They had to do this 3 times because he managed to pee around the catheter before they wanted him too. Each time required a new diaper and the used diaper was whisked off to be disposed of in the radioactive waste disposal!
Nicholas still has the reflux, but I expected that. It looks like it is better than 18 months ago, so that's good. Hopefully he'll grow out of it in time. He'll need another test in 18 months.
Thank you for the prayers. I have nothing but praise to God of course, but also for the medical people.
