I'm about to go off with my son to a garden store to negotiate the purchase of trees for his Eagle project.
Please pray that all goes smoothly -- they have the trees he needs, can deliver when/where he needs them, and are willing to offer a price break for a bulk purchase.

Thank you for your prayers; I'm sure they helped.

We went first to the place dh and ds had visited last week while scoping things out. It had looked good to them. When ds and I went today, they didn't have the right trees (of course you can't expect them not to sell things in the meantime), what they had looked unhealthy, and they looked at him like he had 2 heads when he mentioned he was hoping they would give a discount since it was for his Eagle and was being done for our church. Man, was that ever a discouraging visit! Well, we went to the next place on our list, with me praying silently the whole time, and they had everything, in beautiful condition, and said they always give the same discount for Eagle projects as they give contractors -- 20%! Now, on to next week for the real work!

Thanks again for your prayers, which are, as always, so powerful.
