Our 9 year old poked his eye with a non-toxic marker, but the marker leaked all over his eye- it was everywhere. He was trying to catapult it, but it literally backfired. I rinsed it off until it was clear, but it is very sore and blurry

Please pray it doesn't become infected. I don't know what else to do for it. After he had his eyes closed for an hour, there was no stinging or burning. He's sleeping peacefull right now.

Thank you all for prayers. They have been very powerful. His eye looked very bad this morning, and he was not able to open it much during Mass this morning. But, this evening it looks much better and he's able to keep it open with no problem. Thank you, thank you so much!

I have no idea how that marker exploded. It was all over him, the siding and the chairs in the front porch. Poor little guy was so afraid last night. He's just like me; he worries a lot.


Anne, I hope your little boy's eye is all better now.
