My 25 yo dd is 31 weeks and is in L&D with contractions and is 1 cm dilated. She is carrying twins. Please pray that her labor will stop and she will be able to hold off labor for at least three more weeks. She is receiving terbutaline.

I am overwhelmed and in tears about all your responses. Thank you so much!!!

Mindy came home yesterday after the terbutaline stopped her contractions but the contractions came back this afternoon and she is back at the hospital. The good news is that although the monitor showed she was contracting there was not much dilating so they didn't medicate her and are focusing on getting her better hydrated. I was with her this afternoon and she was drinking well I thought and after the contractions started she had 32 oz.of water very quickly. But at the hospital they felt her urine was still too concentrated. I am surprised, BUT very grateful that contractions are slowing down again and she should be going home soon. She is to go to the Dr in the am.

She will be so grateful to hear of your prayers as is our whole family. I will update with any changes.
