I am brand new- this is my first post aside from my intro.
This is causing some anxiety in our lives, so I decided to ask for prayer.
Our family was involved in what would appear to be a vehicle accident that looks as if it was staged to put us in the position of fault. Our family has been served with papers and we have met with the lawyer for our insurance company. Because of information learned there, we hope that this case will be dropped. But he said we do have cause for concern because strange things happen with legal matters sometimes.
Shortly after this incident, I was late picking our 5 year old up from preschool (we sent him last year, it was a great experience, I'll explain that elsewhere :) ), and when I arrived, a small but big thing happened. I saw the statue of St Francis through the shrubs along the path at the school and instantly felt relief. I was relieved that I was home in the Catholic church, the Mother of Saints. that I was on the side of the heroes, the good guys, I was safe. Ahhhhh. The thought of it has helped me when anxiety about this strikes.
We need prayers. I just keep reminding myself that Jesus was beaten and crucified and He had done nothing. And to turn the other cheek, so pray for the other party, too. And that truth will win in the end.
