One of my closest friends is a wonderful, Catholic, single mom. She made a point of staying home with her children full time for as long as she could after her husband left them. When she finally had to work outside the home, she became a teacher's aide and then a teacher at her children's school in order to spend as much time as possible with them.

Her current job is as an LD teacher working mostly with autistic children. In order to stay in her current job, she needs to get special certification and continue taking college classes, which have been just killing her. They exhaust her and take precious family time away from them all. (Not to mention the fact that working with autistic children in itself is very exhausting.) She is certified already to be a regular elementary school classroom teacher. She has prayerfully discerned that this would be best for her and her children and is now job hunting to try to do that.

Would you pray that she can find a new job soon that will allow her to quit taking classes and simply teach and be with her children in her free time? She also asked for prayers that she will have the grace to keep up with her current schedule if it is not God's will for her find another job.
