Please say a prayer for my mom. She is on business trip in Hutchinson, KS and they are having very bad storms there. My sister called earlier to tell me about the storms and at that time my mom was still at the office. I just called my mom and she is driving to the hotel and she sounded panicked on the phone. She said it was hailing hard, she couldn't see, and the road was flooded. I think her hotel is in Witchita, so she has a bit of a drive. I just checked out the radar and there is a line of storms that keep hitting Hutch one after the other. I am just really worried about her and this is all amplified by the fact that I am 9 months pg. Please also pray for all who are suffering and in danger because of these storms.

Thank you, thank you for your prayers. I finally was able to talk to her again around 9:15 or so. She had a harrowing ride from the office to her hotel. She found out that the road that she was on was impassable at a certain location that she had just past. At least once she had to pull off because the water was up to the door of the car and there were other cars stalled in the water. It was very scary for her. I knew the situation was bad when I initially talked to her because she answered her cellphone while driving. Her company has a very strict policy (that my mom usually follows to a T) about employees not talking on the phone while driving.
Thank you again for your prayers. It brought me so much comfort as I waited to hear back from her. She will be safely back in MI today and then on Tues she is coming here in preparation for the baby! Thank you also for your prayers for the people in Kansas, my mom said that the people of Greensburg had to be evacuated because of the storms. It has been bad there lately.
