Please pray for my father-in-law who is having surgery today. He is 78 years old. There is a mass on his kidney (probably cancerous) and they are removing the kidney. He has a pacemaker also but otherwise is in good health so we are hoping for a full recovery and no more cancer!
"Dad" has truly been like a father to me since I married my dh six years ago. (I lost my own father at 19). He is a very wise and generous man, and much loved by his 7 sons and their wives, 1 daughter and her husband, and 20 granchildren!

Thank you so much for all the prayers. I just talked to my brother-in-law and he said that the surgery went as well as could be expected, and Dad is doing great!
