I'd like to request prayers for my daughter Kathryn. I'm taking her to the cardiologist today. She has a leaky aortic valve, and if it has worsened we will have to schedule replacement surgery. If her condition is unchanged we can wait. And of course if it's better (a miracle) we'll have to go on a pilgrimage of thanksgiving to Auriesville, Lourdes, Nevers, Lourdes, Siena, Rome (Pope John Paul's tomb), and St. Filomena's shrine (can't remember offhand where that is, but we'll find it when we have to).
Thank you so much. I know the Lord really listens to the prayers of you beautiful 4real members!

OH Celeste, of course you have our prayers....how old is Kathryn? My dad had emergency aortic surgery when I was a sophmore in high school and lived another 20+ years.
Can I go on pilgrimage with you?

Thank you so much! No change in heart size or sound, next appointment in six months (unless she slows down considerably). She will need surgery (it will be her fourth) at some point, but we're trying to put it off as long as we can.
