I'm almost embarrassed to post, but prayers again please for my marriage and my dh.

Okay, so I've thought about how to post what we/he needs...Basically in the last year his best friend moved away and stopped talking to him because he got engaged and moved in with the fiance and he has not been able to keep up with his other male Catholic friends at all, he's been away from the sacraments for well over a year and his family is so dysfunctional and getting worse (basically has pulled himself completely away from them)...it boils down to me having to fulfill every emotional/mental/spiritual/physical need he has...and I'm failing. Ugh, I wrote a whole bunch more and deleted...I love him so very much and I don't think he believes it right now. I am so overwhelmed.

Maria . You have written nothing that embarasses you or your husband. You have stated a difficult fact that, at this time (and we pray that the time will be brief) you want to meet your husband's needs but feel inadequate to do so in a way that shows the depth of your love for him. I know that I have felt this way myself. So much of what my dh does to provide for our family, isolates him from the very things that would lighten both of our loads by meeting his needs. This is such a difficult cross...one shared by many homeschooling families I know, love, and respect.

I'm praying for support, lightness, and peace.

Wow! Did I ever feel your prayers! We had a GREAT conversation yesterday. I could feel the grace and presence of the Holy Spirit. No magic trick though, the situation will still be a struggle, but the burden feels so much lighter when we can communicate well. Angie, your words were so spot on! What a way to listen to the Holy Spirit!
Thank you so very much. I can't even begin to express how much your prayers and words mean to me. The conversation yesterday could have been far more painful and accomplished little, and yet I know I can expect miracles when my sisters carry me. I love you all and pray for you always
