DD#1 is travelling to Varanasi, India for a month of study.
She leaves from Newark on Wednesday evening.
Please pray for her safe travel, a good experience, and if you could, pray that DH and I can get through this predeparture time bravely I would appreciate it.
I am not feeling very adventurous

DD has arrived safely in India. I love these quotes from her latest email:
"I ahve never seen such crazy driving in all my life. Rickshaws and motercycles with 4 people on them and scooters and trucks and bikes and people all on one road. It is the law that you have to beep when passing so it is really loud. "
"I think I should have dyed my hair brown becasue people totally STARE at me and one girl even asked to have her picture taken with me-weird. So far, everybody has been quite nice and I am scared, but I think I will be okay because I have other people here with me."

Good news, Viv! Your daughter's one quote remind me of a friend who went to the Phillipines. He was ~6'6" with blue eyes, red hair, and freckles. He said he felt like a movie star because of how many strangers wanted to have their picture take with him!
