Hi all,

I just found out yesterday that my 9 year old nephew has had a tumor growing in his intestines for over a year now. Last year, he had complained of stomach pains all the time, and the doc said it was a sensitivity to sugar. Lately, he has been losing weight, and feeling terrible. He was also getting up in the middle of the night, worried about his health, and checking his temperature with a thermometer on his own. His Grandmother is an RN, and they took him to the ER for extreme dehydration that has occured over the past 2 weeks. When they finally did an MRI, they saw a blockage, some sort of large tumor, in his intestine! So, he isn't getting nourished properly or hydrated. They have taken a biopsy of the tumor to see if it is cancerous or not, and I assume at the very least, in the coming days, he will have to have surgery to have part of his intestines removed to take out the blockage so he can process food and drink normally. PLEASE keep him in your prayers as he is just a little guy really. His name is Nathan. Thanks in advance!
