My daughter is leaving today for a pilgrimage to Lourdes with the Knights of Malta. She has cerebral palsy and this is a wonderful opportunity for her; she has a great devotion to Our Lady of Lourdes and Bernadette is her confirmation name. I know she will be well taken care of, but I'm still nervous.

Could you please pray for her, that she will receive the healing and graces God has planned for her, whether they be physical or spiritual. And also for her younger brothers, who think she's going to be able to walk when she comes home. We've tried to explain that not all people are healed and God may have another plan, but they are sure that she's going to be walking and will be able to become a nun when she gets home.

Kym, NEVER underestimate the power of prayer, and especially at Lourdes -- even if she doesn't come home physically walking, she will most probably come home with a greater love for Mary and God's many graces that she'll see at Lourdes .... it is a fabulous place!

Kym, I am praying for your intentions. I love Lourdes, my experience there changed my life. I think your sons faith is beautiful, yours as well for letting her go. I imagine this must please our Mother so much

This is so sweet. Of course we will pray. If she doesn't physically walk, she is walking more closely with the Lord by visiting Lourdes and Our Holy Mother.
