But I found a small, sore lump under my right arm last week. I have an appointment on Tuesday to have it checked. I'm not really nervous, but would appreciate any prayers that this is nothing...

Nissa, good idea to have it checked - but one question - are you breastfeeding? This is happens with me from time to time and often it 'massages away.'

When I did have it checked initially with a mammogram, it showed 'protein pockets' or something like that - when milk was trapped or built up...

Yes, I am breastfeeding. I have 'lumpy' breasts, but this is right up under my arm. I did get an email from another friend who said it may have something to do with my deoderant.

Yes, deoderants can be a problem, regular ones you buy the the shops often contains aluminium which is a toxin and probably doesn't help the situation. I am very aware of this sort of stuff because of my heavy metal poisoning, my body is 'sensitised' and I cannot use these things at all! (Rashes form and I feel very sick) I have to look for natural options or brands....

Irene, my left breast really plays up in pregancy, and it is the side I don't like to feed off as much and where they found the 'problem pockets' - I am sure rising hormones exacerbate it.
