Ladies, I have been so swamped I have not had time to pop over here (and boy I have missed a bunch!). I wanted to let you all know Marcy is doing WONDERFUL and really recovering well from her surgery. We see her surgeon on Friday and hopefully he'll give us the "green light" to get our life back to as normal as it was. She also got her cast off this week from her break 6 weeks ago. The past few months have been very tumultuous for her health wise, but God is SO GOOD, all the time. He has shown us in so many ways that He cares for us.

I am amazed and stunned at this community---you are all such beautiful women offering up prayers for our family and Marcy. I have been blessed like you wouldn't believe.

I know I'm not Catholic and we're still on this faith journey, but I cannot tell you how much peace I found praying my version of the Rosary during all of this. I bought the CD Elizabeth recommended and somewhat taught myself to say it (being from protestant/baptist background it took some time and lots of practice!!!) Anyhow, I know most of the prayers but do forget the order sometimes....however I have learned that this simple faith exercise has given me much peace in these times of trial.

The even sweeter thing? Marcy says to me the other day, "Momeee, Maw-ee (Mary) kisses my boo-boos" and that made me wonder, did my sweet girl feel those prayers in a way I can't imagine?

Thank you ALL for your faithfulness of prayer. I was blessed.

I am so glad that Marcy-Marie is recovering and all went well with her surgery.

Your little one had been in my prayers--we are still praying for her and your whole family.
