I just want to say that I'm praying for all intentions and always will even when I don't reply...
Garret has a fever and he's in bed now with his Russian picture books - so a little look at Our Lady would help.
Now for a very special request - I have an anonymous blog out there in webland that I felt inspired to begin about 6 months ago where I write down the prayers and aspirations of my heart... last night I was talking to Our Lady and saying that no one had ever commented and I wondered if anyone was reading it... anyway, I told her it would be nice to have just one little comment and I would know that I was doing God's will... well I noticed this morning that at about the same time I said the prayer, someone left a comment! Now I'm asking you all to storm heaven for this person who I believe Our Lady wants for her Son... So please add this unknown person to your prayers and if there's any goodwill at all I believe a conversion will take place... Here's what "enlightenment" wrote:
"Good Grief, woman--don't tell me you believe all the silliness you're writing here? You put sentences together well, so you're not totally stupid--but your foolish abjection to a God who doesn't exist is mind-boggling. And if by some extremely distant chance there is some *Other* out there, He/She can only be characterized as having Supreme Indifference when it comes to human beings. All the great golden goddesses! Get a clue and then get a life. What pap, what porridge, what drivel. And how sad."
I really want this soul for Our Lady and I need your help! Thank you!

Wow, how sad, and how hostile. You are very right in thinking that Our Lady wants prayers for this person. I'm saying a Memorare right now.

It always seems that those who are hostile to God are closer to a conversion than those who are indifferent, so I do think that there's a reason this person commented on your site this particular day.
I'll be praying.

Wow. I don't think you could have received a better answer to your prayer, Robin. To have someone post "I enjoy your blog -- keep up the good work" doesn't hold a candle to that response in terms of reassurance that what you are doing is bearing fruit.
I agree with Karen -- I don't think this person would have taken the time to comment unless they were going through a period of questioning...perhaps using their feedback as a means of denying the doubts/fears/whatever that they have regarding the Truth.
May God continue to bless your ministry.

I knew there was a great George MacDonald quote along these lines -- I just found it:
"Complaint against God is far nearer to God than indifference about him."
Yup. Poor blog contributor ... he hasn't got a prayer ... he's on the fast track to God, I'm afraid.

Robin, I said a Hail Mary for Garret (hope he is feeling better today) and a Memorare for your blog contributor. Wonder what brought him/her to your blog to start with?
