Oh my goodness ladies, I am just sick right now! My husband is in the Nat'l Guard and was about to retire and was just told he has a good chance at going to Iraq in July. They have put a stop loss on their battalion, which means nobody is getting out right now. I am praying SOOO hard right now that he doesn't have to go. From the news we are getting right now they won't need the entire battalion, just some. They are going to go guard a prison over there. We will know more tomorrow. They are calling an emergency meeting for tomorrow night. GRRRR....I HATE the military!!!! Nothing EVER goes as planned. He was supposed to be OUT, and now here we are, they won't let him retire!!! GRRRRRR......
If you would, please, please, pray that he DOES NOT have to go!!!!

Angela, praying this all works out for you. This same thing was happening to my bil--due to get out of the Army next March, and was suddenly told he needed to go over to Iraq (again ). It turns out he doesn't need to go--I'll pray for the same for your dh!

Well, thank you all for the prayers. We won't know anything for sure until May 10th when they figure out how many volunteers they will have. So, we'll see, but prayers are still appreciated!
