DD Sara just wrote an update on Clark. Could you please keep him in your prayers.

Here is Sara's email:
Clark had a CT scan yesterday and x-rays and blood tests today, and the
nurse-practitioner we meet with told us that the CT scan showed two
slightly enlarged lymph nodes in the abdominal area... not the same two
(in a different spot) that they'd been keeping an eye on, but two
different ones, slightly larger than normal. The blood tests won't be
back until tomorrow. Sue (the nurse-practitioner) said that she needs
to talk to Dr. Wallen, who will decide if he thinks surgery is
necessary at this stage. She said she didn't know what he'd think...
the lymph nodes are in a less likely location than the first ones for
the cancer to spread to, which seems hopeful (and Clark did just have
almost two weeks of food poisoning to deal with in that very area), but
Dr. Wallen might think it's too chancy and want to do the surgery (even
more alarming, now, because he'd have to visit yet more areas!) If the
blood markers are elevated, it would not be good, but if they're normal
still, he might decide to wait and watch some more. We'll probably find
out tomorrow if there's to be surgery in Clark's future or not... so
prayers would be VERY appreciated. (Clark said, "oh please, please
email soon and get your family to use their Red Phone to God!")

Sara just wrote saying that the nurse practitioner called this morning to say that the blood results were fine and Dr. Wallen wasn't concerned about the lymph nodes, so Clark will just keep going in for his regular checkups. Whew!
